I’m in my mid-30s, married with no kids (so I can’t blame my hips on having babies!) In 2011, I embarked on 3 months of a doctor-supervised very low calorie diet to quickly take off some of the weight that had been accumulating over the years. I dropped 60 pounds and 6 pants sizes, but my body freaked out a little bit from the stress of losing that much weight. 2012 has been about working toward a new definition of healthy, despite still weighing more than I’d like. I started running in February, and I completed my first half marathon in early November. 2013 is about refining what healthy living looks like for me!
